Bayleys had 67% clearance rate at its Auckland auctions last week but things were slower at the Hamilton auction

This clifftop site with a bach on it at Kerikeri sold for $915,000

Bayleys sold 12 of the 18 properties offered at their Auckland auctions last week while at Bayleys’ Hamilton office, one of the four properties auctioned was sold.

The Auckland auction had a good mix of properties ranging from family homes to lifestyle properties to managed student flats. In Hamilton they were a mix of urban and lifestyle properties.

One of the highlights of the Auckland auctions was a clifftop section with a bach on it (pictured) outside of Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands.

The section was just over 1ha and had magnificent views out to Moturoa Island.

The bach on the site was originally an ambulance station on Waiheke Island that was transported to the site and converted to a holiday home.

The property sold for $915,000.
